A-01 started as a cutaway drawing on the workshop wall, showing how energy moves from the barrel to the balance. Each later prototype removed more metal, until the architecture and the design were the same thing.
One watchmaker assembles each piece from start to finish, then signs the barrel bridge. The moon phase is set by hand to the night it leaves the atelier.
